A Fun Day at Sea!

Hello everyone!  Lynette reporting again from the sunny Caribbean!  I’ve been having a great time here with the group on the Ms Zuiderdam!  Friday, January 14 – A warm & sunny fun day at sea!  Lots of things going on today on the ship.  I helped Kenny and Brenda schedule their vow renewal ceremony.  On each sailing the Captain picks one day and time that he will be available for vow renewal ceremonies. The package includes a floral bouquet for Brenda, boutonniere for Kenny, champagne, appetizers, 10×7 picture, invitations and dinner at the Pinnacle Grill! This is Kenny & Brenda’s first cruise and how nice to have Jimmy Fortune and a few of their close friends celebrate this special occasion with them!  Sunday at 7 p.m. will be the date!

There are lots of fun things on the schedule to do!  SO much to choose from! I stopped into to the computer workshop on making a movie out of your pictures.  The instructor showed how to take your photos and make them into a slide show, add music, etc.  Then it was off to learn about the Renaissance master painters at the art history lecture.   Lots of people were lounging by the pool, reading a book, and enjoying the warm sun.  I heard that some of our group took advantage of the services of the world class spa onboard.  The Promenade, Deck 3 is the best place for a good walk.  Three times around the ship equals one mile!  I heard that David G. won $100 in the casino last night, then another $200 playing Bingo!  Way to go David!   I stopped by the Queen’s Lounge at 3:30 to see how Jimmy’s sound check was going.  Looks like everything is in place for tonight’s concert!

S.  The Captain’s announcements are becoming legendary…quite entertaining!)  Off to dream of my wonderful day on the beautiful Caribbean sea!  Tomorrow is Aruba!
